Reza is the founder and principal attorney of Privity Legal Group. Reza focuses his practice primarily on Real Estate Law and Estate Planning.
Real Estate Law
Reza's real estate law practice focuses mainly on assisting clients in the sale or purchase of their real estate. With both residential and commercial properties, Reza has represented clients in off-market transactions.
In addition to advising his clients on the legal issues surrounding a real estate transaction, Reza is able to advise his clients on the nuts and bolts of a deal, as he is a licensed Real Estate Broker by the California Department of Real Estate.
Reza's real estate law practice involves a broad range of real estate issues, including both litigation and transactions, such as landlord/tenant disputes, judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, real estate broker liability, property acquisitions/dispositions, commercial office and retail leasing, common interest developments, condominium conversions of both residential and commercial developments, boundary and easement disputes, eminent domain, as well as land use issues.
Reza has represented his real estate clients during all phases of real estate litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice and trial preparation.
Estate Planning
Reza's estate planning practice includes trust administration, probate matters, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive estate plans for his clients. Reza has drafted revocable living trusts, wills, power of attorneys, advance health care directives, irrevocable trusts, including life insurance trusts as well as other asset protection devices. Through the proper planning of an estate, Reza has been able to serve his clients by protecting their assets while minimizing their income, gift, estate and generation-skipping tax liability.
Prior to establishing Privity Legal Group, Reza worked for a nationally-recognized tax firm in San Francisco, Ca. While there Reza provided tax compliance and planning to high-net worth individuals, partnerships and corporations.
